Seo Yea-Ji (born April 6, 1990), also known as Seo Ye-Ji, is a Korean actress. Her acting career began in the sitcom “Potato Stars” 2013QR3 (2013-2014). Followed by the primary roles of the period drama “The Diary of the Night Watcher” (2014) and the thriller “The Last” (2015). Her famous protagonists in TV series include Moorim School: The Saga of the Brave (2016), Save Me (2017), Lawless Lawyer (2018), and It’s Okay to Not Be Okay (2020).
Early Life And Education
Seo Ye-Ji was born on April 6, 1990. She studied at Young won Middle School and Young-shin High School, then went to Spain to major in Journalism at Madrid Complutense University, and intends to become a TV news presenter.
Career
2013–2016: Debut And Diverse Roles
Although Seo Ye-Ji’s ambition was to serve as a TV news host, things changed when she caught the attention of the CEO of the then management company Made in Chan Entertainment. In March 2013, she set foot in the entertainment industry and appeared in SK Telecom advertisements. In May 2013, she played the role of Min-Joo in the Samsung Galaxy S4 short film “Love.”
She played the leading actress for the first time in the TV sitcom “Potato Stars” 2013QR3, and played 120 episodes from September 23, 2013, to May 15, 2014, and then appeared in the MBC historical drama “The Diary of the Night Watcher” (2014), and played an essential role in it. For this, she was nominated for the Best New Actress Award at the MBC Drama Awards 2014.
Later, she appeared in the TV series “Super Daddy Yeol” (2015) and the famous jTBC TV series “Last” (2015) as a civil servant. In the popular historical drama film “The Throne” (The Throne, 2015), she played the Queen of Jeongseon.

Seo’s first protagonist in the movie “The Road to Suicide” (2017) marks the beginning of 2017. When Seo appeared in the OCN thriller mystery TV series “Save Me” (2017), he was hailed by the audience as the “New Thriller Queen.”
Then, she starred in the world’s first 4DX VR movie, Stay With Me (2018), opposite Kim Jong Hyun. She played the role of a lawyer and found it difficult to control her temper with Lee Jogi-gi in the TV series “Lawless Lawyer (2018)”.
